#BREAKING: Strongest tornado ever recorded in Southwest Florida, rated an EF-3 with winds of 140 mph, was just confirmed in Glades County during Hurricane Milton’s outer bands by the National Weather Service. We’ve never locally had an EF-3 tornado in the WINK viewing area until now…with data going back to 1950. The twister injured 3 people and did extensive damage to the Twin Palms RV Resort in Sarasota Colony while on the ground for 9 miles. Expect more tornado surveys to come out in the days ahead from one of the worst tornado outbreaks in Southwest Florida history.
