Bruce Willis has been spending quality time with his family amid his dementia battle, and his first grandchild has won his heart.
Bruce’s daughter, Rumer Willis, shared footage of her father spending quality time with her now one-year-old daughter, Louetta, whom she shares with her boyfriend, Derek Richard Thomas.
A video re-share by Smoothradio shows Bruce beaming as he holds his grandchild on his lap. The tiny tot studies the world around her while Bruce watches, completely enamored by her curiosity.
The video also includes Demi Moore, Bruce Willis’ ex-wife and mother of Rumer. Demi has been one of Bruce’s biggest supporters since his health forced him to retire from acting.
Bruce Willis Welcomes First Grandchild
Bruce Willis was initially diagnosed with Aphasia in March 2022, which prompted him to announce his retirement. The following February, Demi and Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming Willis, shared a heartbreaking joint social media post that explained his condition was more complicated than they originally understood.
In the year that has followed, Bruce’s family, which also includes his four other daughters; Scout LaRue Willis, 32, and Tallulah Belle Willis, 30, whom he shares with Demi along with Rumer, and Mabel Ray Willis, 12, and Evelyn Penn Willis, 10, who he shares with Emma. And while he has been soaking up his time with each of them, the addition of Louetta has been an obvious highlight for him.
